Looking for a way to make a positive contribution to ensuring the future of our precious koalas?
Help regenerate bushland lost in the 2019-2020 bush fires and contribute to koala corridors by planting koala food trees. Thanks to a partnership with the Forestry Corporation of NSW, free saplings will be available from the Port Macquarie Koala Hospital from 28th March 2022 until supplies run out.
As soil and habitat locations vary, four different species are available: tallowwood, grey gum, forest red gum and swamp mahogany.
Collect trees from the Koala Hospital, Lord Street, Port Macquarie between 10am and 2pm, Monday to Saturday.
Click on the link below which will take you to the Koala Hospital’s website where you can complete the order form.
