Hastings Secondary College

ABC Mid North Coast Presenter, Cameron Marshall, interviewed students from the Hastings Secondary College – Westport Campus about their Koala Smart entry. Along with their Visual Arts teacher Jess Wilkinson, the students from Years 8 and 9 are creating a three-panel (triptych) painting depicting the change in koala habitat over many generations, effects of urbanisation and a possible solution. The work will be accompanied by an artist’s statement which explains the three panels. Listen to the audio below.
